Please give my compliments to the chef! We’ve been to this restaurant two years ago and the octopus back then and now are the best grilled octopus I’ve ever had! Honestly, this place is a real hidden gem! My newest food obsession from Maria Petisca is Prego - Portuguese traditional sandwich with a tuna steak! Wow! Words cannot express how much we enjoyed having lunch here

Gosh, where should I start from? Service, ambient, food? Everything was outstanding and Maria Petisca was so far The best restaurant we visited in Lagos so far. The food was absolutely beautiful, I have no words to explain how tasty the main dish (salmon) was. To be hones, we are planing to return tonight just to try more options fr their menu. The lady who assisted us during the dinner was incredibly friendly and helpful. We got over excited with the tapas menu and tried to order more dishes, but she kindly warned us that it would be too much. It’s a pity I can’t mention her name here but she was such a sweet hear. Prices were just fine, we had plenty of food, tapas, main and a bottle of wine and the bill was a bit less than €60x I totally recommend the place.

The staff was welcoming from the beginning providing excellent service. But the reason why this place was worth visiting is the amazing food. Literally everything we had was exceptional, tuna taco, prego pork and prego tuna steak - the tuna was truly extraordinary.
